Tracey advises a range of UK pension scheme trustees and sponsoring employers on many aspects of pension provision. This ranges from advice on changes to scheme benefits to managing actuarial valuations and covers both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes. She also holds a number of Scheme Actuary appointments.
Tracey is actively involved as an actuary and consultant to a number of UK pension schemes, advising on all aspects of their pension arrangements including scheme funding strategy and design, pension accounting, scheme mergers, risk mitigation and pension scheme wind ups.
An experienced and very approachable actuary who fully empathises with trustees and employers facing difficult decisions and gives thorough, proactive advice.
Significant experience:
- developing tailored scheme funding strategies with clients
- supporting trustees through the closure of a defined benefit scheme
- enabling trustees to keep pace with legislation and advising on changes to scheme benefits where appropriate
- advising trustees in relation to a scheme merger or wind up
Other expertise
Tracey is a member of the firm’s Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee that researches new actuarial and pensions issues to ensure that appropriate advice is provided. She was also a member of the firm’s Pensions Research Group for a number of years - the committee that researches new pensions regulations and developments and assists with the production of the firm's quarterly pensions newsletter.
She is also a team leader of one of the London office’s two actuarial teams, responsible for managing workload and organising students’ development. In addition she is involved with the office’s graduate recruitment programme.
