Tom leads the team of developers for BWebstream, Barnett Waddingham's in-house pension scheme administration system. He is a specialist in the area of pensioner payrolls.
Tom has over 15 years of experience as a software developer. Through his work on BWebstream he has gained particular technical knowledge of payroll operation.
Tom provides assistance to the take-on and administration of defined benefit (DB) pension scheme and SIPP payrolls, including those transferring to the PPF.
Significant experience:
- architected, implemented and maintained the BWebstream software payroll module, responsible for over £1bn of payments made
- integrated Bacs and other payment systems with Barnett Waddingham software
- advised extensively on PAYE tax operation
- developed HMRC reporting, having been involved with Real Time Information (RTI) from the consultation and pilot phases
- represented Barnett Waddingham and the Society of Pension Consultants in HMRC PAYE consultations
