Sophie joined Barnett Waddingham in July 2019 as a Client Manager in our SIPP department, dealing with a wide range of individuals across a wide range of pension assets such as commercial property, stocks and shares, unquoted shares and loans
She has worked with our bespoke and flexible SIPP clients, also spending some time in our Key Accounts team with several of our large advisory firms.
Significant experience:
- Being first point of contact to a large portfolio of clients across the UK.
- New business setup by providing support to financial advisers along with finalising due diligence and recommendations.
- Technical support to advisers on complex investment transactions such as property purchases, unregulated collective investment schemes, unquoted shares involving vetting and compliance. Ensuring HMRC legislation and rules are followed.
- Ongoing administration of the property within the SIPPs.
- Providing information about drawdown, lifetime allowance and contribution allowances.
