As the Head of Marketing at Barnett Waddingham, Simon has overall responsibility for the planning, creation and delivery of marketing strategies to support the ongoing development and growth of the firm across all markets.
Simon leads the firm's central Marketing team which delivers a wide range of marketing activities including communications and PR, event management, research and insight, brand management and design, and new business support.
Simon's significant professional services experience has led to a number of key developments benefiting clients, including:
- an integrated client care strategy that looks to deliver an exceptional service, measured through regular client surveys and the client review programme
- the introduction of a digital strategy encompassing a range of innovative online activities and active engagement through the firm's presence on social media channels
- the ongoing development and delivery of a stimulating events programme across the UK
- regular commentary from experts within the firm on topical issues, both in the press and also through email channels
Simon is regularly listed in the 'Pensions Social Media 100', a list of the most notable movers and shakers on social media.
He also currently heads Barnett Waddingham's Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) steering group.
