Career
Sam started his career with Barnett Waddingham in the Cheltenham Office in 2002 after graduating from Heriot Watt University with a degree in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics. He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2006 and became an Associate of the firm on 2011.In 2012 Sam moved to Australia to work for Willis Towers Watson in their Melbourne office where he advised the Trustees and Sponsoring
Employers of some of the largest corporate superannuation funds in the country.
In 2018, after six years in Australia, Sam decided to return to the UK and re-joined the Cheltenham office of Barnett Waddingham as an Associate to head up the Actuarial Calculations Team.
Sam became a Principal at Barnett Waddingham in June 2020.

Interests
In his spare time Sam is a keen tennis player and entertainer of his two small children.
