Robert provides bespoke advice for SSAS clients and in particular helps these clients to utilise the existing pension funds to help finance their business needs.
He works with various sized limited companies who wish to utilise the investment options available under a SSAS to provide pension provision for company directors and/or investment in that business
advice to limited companies about establishing a SSAS for the benefit of the company directors
provision of bespoke consultancy services to existing SSAS clients and potential new SSAS clients
consultancy in relation to many different SSAS investments, including commercial property and loans
advice on retirement options including income drawdown
Robert joined Barnett Waddingham in March 2012 and has over 20 years of experience in working with SSAS and SIPP. Robert is FPC1, FPC2 and CF9 qualified.
Outside of work, Robert is a keen football fan (now that his playing days have passed) and would describe himself as a "reasonable" pool player. Family and time permitting, Robert can be found following the fortunes of "the Bairns", who are otherwise known as Falkirk FC.
