Richard is a consulting actuary in the Insurance and Longevity Consulting team. He has over 35 years’ experience of working in the life insurance industry, with particular expertise on financial reporting issues in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.
Prior to joining Barnett Waddingham, Richard was the Group Technical Lead for Prudential PLC where he played a leading role on Prudential’s global implementation of IFRS 17 and the group’s embedded value reporting. Previously, he was a senior consultant with Towers Perrin where he advised clients on a wide variety of financial reporting and M&A projects.
Richard is a member of the EFRAG Insurance Accounting Working Group and the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries Financial Reporting Group.
