Pratik is a senior investment consultant within our Investment Consulting practice. He started his career in 2006 and qualified as an actuary in 2010.
He has a wealth of experience, which includes advising a wide range of DB, corporate and Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) clients, varying in size from £50m to over £10bn. Pratik has delivered strategic investment advice to several schemes sponsored by FTSE 100 companies, as well as working with non-associated multi employers and several well-known public sector clients. His clients operate under various governance structures and have different levels of investment complexity.
Over the years Pratik has worked closely with a range of different LGPS, assisting on setting investment strategy, implementation of existing and new assets classes – including via public procurement processes, as well as ongoing reporting and monitoring. He previously helped set up and then led the custody team at a previous firm, which included leading on custodial searches and fresh reviews of the commercial arrangements.
Pratik is passionate about building relationships based on understanding and trust, and many of his appointments have spanned over a decade.

- Consulting with a range of stakeholders, including (professional) trustees, CFO, FDs, and HR professionals. In both the private and public sector.
- Helping clients develop, agree, and implement sustainable funding and investment strategies. Helping lead and bringing consensus to funding and investment negotiations.
- Advising on asset allocation, manager selection, implementation, and de-risking frameworks.
- Restructuring investment strategies including in LDI, equities, private markets, insurance-based solutions, and surplus targeting strategies.
- Transitioning strategies with the use of specialist transition managers and custodians.
- Appointing new fund managers across a range of asset classes - including using a public procurement process.
- Developing high performing teams, processes, and culture.
