Paul has almost 20 years of experience in software development. He has worked on a huge variety of team and project sizes, from a team of over 120 developers down to solo projects.
At Barnett Waddingham, Paul is responsible for the core technical approaches of his team and the software solutions they create.
Paul has a passion for solving complex problems and facilitating long term support through thorough, well-structured and documented testing at all levels.
Paul gains a particular sense of accomplishment when working with the team to improve the way it works. Whether this is by making adjustments to the team process, or by helping and inspiring team members to be the best they can.
Paul has had a varied career over many different sectors including:
Paul graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2006 with a first class degree in computer science. Most recently he was a software developer at Broadridge (formally FundsLibrary) for just over seven years, before moving to Barnett Waddingham in early 2022. He was promoted to Associate in June 2024.
When Paul is not developing software solutions, he can be found in his garage doing woodworking projects, painting miniatures or out and about on his road bike.
