Paul is Scheme Actuary and strategic adviser to a number of pension plans ranging from £100 million to multi-billion in size.
Paul enjoys helping his clients manage their entire funding plans. Paul recognises that a funding strategy should reflect the characteristics of a pension plan and will tailor his strategy advice to reflect the age and profile of the plan, the expertise of the trustees and how to secure the best outcome for all parties.
Paul is also passionate about the evolution of pensions as we move forward, taking an active role in the Firm’s strategy, leading on innovations, and helping to lay the framework to enable Barnett Waddingham’s actuaries to provide the long-term, tailored and independent advice which sets them apart. Recently, Paul has helped to establish our actuarial presence in our new Guildford office, splitting his time between there and Amersham.
