Michael manages a team of administrators that look after a varied portfolio of pension schemes.

He also manages and undertakes new scheme implementation, GMP reconciliation and data correction projects.

Michael's main aread of expertise includes Administration of Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes.

Significant experience:

  • 20 years working on occupational pension schemes of varying sizes
  • Seven years managing an administration team
  • Experience with managing scheme implementations, GMP reconciliations and data correction projects

Career

Michael previously worked in insured pension scheme administration, third party administration and in-house administration. He joined Barnett Waddingham in December 2011 and became an Associate of the firm in 2020.

Certificate member of the Pensions Management Institute (CertPMI)

Interests

Michael enjoys keeping active by running, cycling and helping to bring up his three small children. He is also an active coaching staff of his son’s football team.
