Luke is a member of the senior leadership team delivering pension management services and is an experienced governance specialist with a strong consulting and administration background. He has 12+ years pension industry experience and is excellent at building long-term relationships with his clients.

He is part of Barnett Waddingham’s General Code Steering Group. Within this group he is looking at best practice, the Effective System of Governance (ESOG), Own Risk Assessment (ORA), and how the new Code provides an excellent opportunity to not just ensure compliance but to ensure that value is being added for the long-term benefit to schemes.

Luke works closely with clients to ensure services are tailored to suit their specific needs. He has a keen interest in business development activity.

He was appointed to the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) Risk and Assurance Committee in September 2023

  • Experience of providing full scheme secretarial and governance services across a portfolio of clients
  • Strong business development skills and building long-term relationships
  • A Managing Consultant on a portfolio of clients
  • Experienced client relationship manager and strong problem solving skills
  • A PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management

Career

Luke joined Barnett Waddingham in July 2018 as a Pension Management Consultant and was promoted to Principal, Senior Pension Management Consultant in June 2023.

He has previously worked in a consultancy environment providing a wide range of services to trustees. Luke began his pensions career in administration, working his way up from a trainee to Senior Pensions Administrator. Luke has a sports degree and graduated from Bournemouth University in 2010.

Interests

Luke enjoys all sports and loves spending time with his family. As a former International Futsal player, Luke has a keen interest in the development of the game.
