Lauren Round FIA

Lauren provides trustee and corporate advice to a range of UK pension schemes with a key focus on the trustee advisory side. She offers an overseeing role across practice areas and is collectively a team leader and line manager to the Liverpool actuarial team.

She specialises in all areas of trustee consulting work, and prides herself on developing strong working relationships with all of her clients.

Acting as Scheme Actuary support for schemes which range in size from £1m to £150m, she is able to provide advice tailored to her clients’ individual circumstances. Included within those schemes are some which remain open to future accrual with numerous sections and complex benefit structures. Additionally, Lauren helps with the management of operational matters for the actuarial teams across the firm.

Significant experience:

• Involved in all aspects of providing advice on Scheme Funding.
• Involved in all aspects of preparing company accounting disclosures, including advice on assumptions, preparation of disclosures and liaison with third parties in relation to disclosure collation.
• Project management of one-off pieces of work.
• Responsible for overseeing the Barnett Waddingham training committee, helping to provide direction and guidance to the representatives in each office.
• Looking after our new graduates and summer students, welcoming them to the firm in their first few weeks by coordinating their training
