Laura heads up our award-winning wellbeing solution and consultancy service, which looks at addressing holistic wellbeing challenges for clients of Barnett Waddingham and has more than ten years' experience in consulting – working with FTSE 100 companies on developing wellbeing strategies, delivering achievable and meaningful outcomes to the organisation. She has extensive in group risk and healthcare consulting, absence management, policy and procedures, benefits, as well as adverse claims management. 

Laura has also spent more than three years working in a similar role for the NHS. Laura specialises in building bespoke and holistic strategies for clients. Her clear advice and proactive approach have helped her become a trusted wellbeing consultant ot a wide range of organisations and an expert within this field. 


Significant experience:

  • consultancy advice to clients around absence management, early intervention, occupational health, claims management, and adverse claims decisions
  • Heads up our overall Wellbeing offering, which includes BWell, absence management, occupational health and any wellbeing related consultancy
  • provides advice to clients on bespoke and holistic wellbeing strategies, which address the needs of the workforce   

Other experience:

  • Leads on our Wellness+ D&I network for Barnett Waddingham, driving the agenda for change around mental health, neurodiversity and hidden disabilities 
  • Sits on L&G's Wellbeing advisory board advising the market and Government on wellbeing issues impacting the workforce
  • Laura is also a member of the Diversity Project's Mental Health stream helping raise awareness around mental health for business
  • Provides commentary for industry publications – for example, Corporate Advisor and Employee Benefits Magazine –and is a recognised industry expert in the employee benefits field
