Karri Chandler

Karri heads our IT team in Bristol. She facilitates the team’s professional development as well as ensuring the software we work on is adding value for both our colleagues and our clients.

Since joining Barnett Waddingham as a software developer, she has developed a nuanced understanding of the needs of our clients, allowing her to set development priorities. She works with teams across the business so that she can appreciate the challenges being faced and collaboratively craft solutions that benefit as many of our clients as possible.

Karri has a particular interest in web development, championing the needs of the user to ensure our sites are increasingly accessible for all and a joy to use. She strives for consistency in approach, excellence in security and a company-wide awareness of good practice so we can all improve together.

Significant experience:

• Bringing unique insight into the role of Product owner, bridging the gap between our technical and business experts.
• Knowing our systems intimately, Karri has contributed to business pitches – explaining our online offerings for clients in a way that addresses their particular needs.
• Establishing and maintaining the Bristol IT team, expanding our expertise by bringing in specialists in frontend development and UX design.
