Julian Mainwood FPMI Dip CII

Julian is involved in the administration of a wide range of occupational pension schemes.  He advises clients on administration and governance aspects and is responsible for providing technical guidance to the administration teams. 

Julian also sits on the Firm’s Pension Administration Board which is responsible for setting strategy within the pension administration business.

He has particular expertise in answering technical queries and helping clients with lifetime allowance and auto-enrolment matters.

Julian has experience of helping clients across a broad range of occupational pensions including defined benefit, defined contribution, CARE and hybrid schemes. 

Significant experience:

• helped a large client in the build up to their auto-enrolment staging date by offering advice as to how we can administer their scheme through the new joiner and opt-out process
• provided assistance with GMP reconciliation and data cleansing projects
• provided on site presentations and one to one pension meetings for a client going through a redundancy process
• over 25 years of pension administration experience
• provided guidance on governance and risk management aspects for pension Trustee boards
