Jonathan Marrow FIA

Jonathan advises trustees and employers of defined benefit pension schemes, providing actuarial and consultancy advice on a wide variety of issues to enable clients to understand and effectively manage their pension scheme risks.

Jonathan works primarily with trustees, assisting them in managing their ongoing plans towards meeting member benefits in full by providing tailored advice that meets their needs.

He advises pension schemes in a range of sectors and focusses on providing clear advice that can be easily understood by his clients. 

Significant experience:

• funding advice for trustees
• supporting trustees with the closure of their defined benefit scheme
• providing advice on wind-ups and bulk annuity transactions   
• advice on company accounting disclosures including IAS 19 and FRS 102

Other experience:

Jonathan is a member of the firm’s Pensions Research Group. This committee researches new pensions legislation and regulation and ensures Barnett Waddingham’s consultants and clients are kept up to date with any changes. He also assists with the production of the firm's pensions newsletters.
