Emma Swithenbank

Emma manages a portfolio of Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSAS) located across the UK.

She provides guidance on all aspects of SSASs, from scheme establishments, funding and contribution limits, tax efficient investments, retirement and death benefits, and scheme transfers and wind ups.

Significant experience:

• advising on the purchase of commercial properties, often to be let back to the scheme’s sponsoring employer
• assisting with loans from the SSAS to the sponsoring employer
• advising on the earmarking of investments within the scheme
• providing advice in relation to pension benefit options
