Debbie is the Pension Administration Operations Manager for the Liverpool office.

She works closely with other Operations Managers across Barnett Waddingham to oversee people, teams, and client management.

Her main area of expertise to managing resource to support the delivery of exceptional client service. Debbie is also client-facing, overseeing defined benefit (DB) clients and ensuring the smooth delivery of our administration services.

Significant experience:

  • Over 34 years experience working within pensions admininstration.
  • Has a qualification from the Pensions Management Institute (PMI).
  • Following undertaking a degree in her own time away from work, she has gained a BSC as a qualified Counsellor and Coach.
  • Obtained a Prince2 foundation qualification

Career

Debbie joined BW in 2018 as a Pension Administration Team Leader in the Liverpool office and was promoted to an Associate in June 2024. She started her pensions career in the in-house pensions team for Southwestern Electricity Board as a Pension Administrator and was promoted to Senior Pension Administrator before moving to the Northwest. She was with her last third-party Administrator for 18 years, covering Senior Pension Administration duties, client and workload management and training.

Interests

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. They like to get away as much as they can in their motorhome, touring the UK. She winds down by walking the dogs and doing some gardening. She generally loves being outdoors which is a great way for her to relax.
