Dan provides advanced operational support and delivery to the SIPP business area.
He works in a Team Leader role by directing / managing client work, providing support to his colleagues, and deals with challenging client cases in his team. Dan mainly deals with vulnerable customers in helping guide them through settlement of pension death benefits during what is a difficult time for them.
Dan’s team are dedicated in providing specialist support to Vulnerable Customer processes including Death Benefits, Divorce Sharing Orders and Power of Attorney set-ups, as well as giving dedicated support to those individual customers with any form of vulnerability.
Dan regularly trains new staff members joining as Client Managers and act as their “buddy” for the first couple of months until they get on their feet.

Dan has worked at Barnett Waddingham for over eight years, starting out as Client Administrator in SIPP, being promoted to Client Manager two years later following successful completion of examinations with the CII, and more recently promoted further to a Team Leader role overseeing the Vulnerable Customer processes.
Dan has participated in several half marathon events in raising money for various Charities such as British Heart Foundation, Sue Ryder and Maggie’s.
