Collette has over 30 years' experience within the pensions industry, becoming a Principal at Barnett Waddingham in June 2019 and then a Partner from June 2024.
Collette leads the Client Relationship Managers for the Pension Administration business area. She uses her wealth of knowledge and expertise relating to service delivery for occupational schemes to ensure that her team deliver a proactive approach to meeting clients’ needs and priorities.
Collette has the advantage of having worked for both in-house and third-party administrators giving her a unique perspective, enabling her to bring bespoke solutions to Trustees facing administration challenges.
Significant experience:
- Leading client relationship for a mix of large DB, DC, and hybrid schemes.
- Problem solving, bringing solutions to Trustees with particular experience in complex and unusual issues. Takes time to understand the issues that arise and provides technical support and guidance balanced alongside a pragmatic and practical approach.
- Being a sounding board to clients for administration matters.
- All aspects of service delivery and in particular challenging member and scheme issues.
- Managing large, demanding and complex project work for example, implementing and managing significant scheme changes including scheme closure, GMP projects, introducing new benefit structures, new DC funds and de-risking exercises.
- Secretarial and governance services for occupational pension scheme clients.
- A member of the firm's Pension Administration Planning Group, which is responsible for planning and developing strategy within the pensions administration business.
