Anthony Davies APMI DipPFS

Anthony leads our streamlined services team, which provides consultancy advice on defined contribution (DC) pension arrangements and wider employee benefits to a range of small to medium-sized UK businesses.

His expertise lies in supporting corporate and trustee bodies in relation to the design, ongoing governance, member engagement and ongoing auto-enrolment duties for a variety of pension schemes and assisting in helping employers create and govern their employee benefit arrangements.

Anthony has specialist knowledge and experience across a number of technical DC pension projects, including winding-up small, own-trust DC pension schemes, discharging DC pension arrangements in conjunction with PPF assessment periods, and helping employers consolidate and update legacy pension arrangements into modern market leading propositions.  

Significant experience:

• Advises UK and multi-national clients, ranging from the smallest SMEs to employers with up to 5,000 lives
• Acts as consultant to a number of DC schemes, working within governance structures designed to generate the best outcomes for members
• Provides individual member engagement, including staff presentations and one-to-one employee information sessions
• Advises on the design and implementation across a range of group pension arrangements (including provider, benefit structure, salary sacrifice etc)
• Advises on DC transition and wind-up exercises, along with discharging DC benefits for schemes entering the Pension Protection Fund (PPF).
