BW’s Jane Galvin wins at the Professional Pensions Women in Pensions Awards 2021

Recognised for her tremendous work as former COO at BW, Jane has proudly won the Pandemic Perseverance Award at last night’s ceremony in London.

The Women in Pensions Awards focuses the spotlight on ground-breaking women in the pensions sector, celebrating and recognising the achievements of women in a sector where they are currently under-represented.

Commenting on her win, Jane said: “It’s great to be recognised for all the work that we did over the pandemic. For me, it was not only important that we got through it successfully as a business, but also that we looked after our people…Equally, it was important that we kept talking to the clients to ensure they knew what was happening and that we would be there to look after them.”

The Pandemic Perseverance Award, new for 2021, celebrates women who have played a central role in helping their firm or scheme adjust during the coronavirus pandemic – be that through the development or launch of a new product, initiative, offering, programme, tool, etc. or by otherwise going ‘above and beyond’ to deliver and help members and/or clients.
