Continued growth for Barnett Waddingham with triple appointment to risk advisory and analytics services

To support business growth, Barnett Waddingham, a leading independent UK professional services consultancy, has appointed three risk advisory and analytics (RAA)specialists as it continues to expand its RAA services.

Richard Williams, Senior Consultant is a seasoned risk professional with over two decades of experience in multiple sectors. Richard joins the BW Risk Advisory & Analytics team having been Head of Enterprise Risk at the Post Office, and previously Chief Finance and Risk Officer (CFRO) for Renault and Lloyds TSB. As a Senior Consultant in the BW Risk Advisory & Analytics team: Richard’s commercial acumen, board level experience and extensive knowledge of risk and assurance will greatly benefit BW clients, and the wider BW risk community.

Karla Gahan, Senior Consultant is a leading expert in resilience and business continuity, who champions the behavioural aspects of her field. With over two decades of in-house experience at professional services firms including DLA Piper International, Karla has implemented business continuity and enterprise risk management frameworks, trained crisis teams and has responded to major events the world over. As a Senior Consultant in the BW Risk Advisory & Analytics team: Karla’s pragmatic experience will benefit BW clients looking to implement or test their resilience and business continuity activities.

Roy Welsby, Advisory Board Member a retired partner of Grant Thornton UK LLP and former Chartered Accountant, joins the BW Risk Advisory & Analytics team as a Risk Advisory Board Member: giving the team and BW clients guidance and independent challenge in the areas of risk governance, compliance and assurance. Roy harnesses his expertise and wisdom in these fields from over four decades of commercial experience; including client projects, international risk roles, MLRO responsibilities, and Executive Director for Advisory Services, risk management and training. Roy has created award-winning risk management regimes to set global standards and leverages his senior level expertise to help BW clients and colleagues achieve the same high standards.
