New Head of Propositions for SIPP appointed

Nick Cooper has been appointed as Head of Propositions for SIPP as part of a significant programme of investment in people, technology and service delivery in this key strategic growth area.

Nick’s appointment is the latest addition to the senior team. Simon Foster, Head of BW SIPP hired Neil Howitt as Head of SIPP Finance in September 2023, and Adam Burwell joined the team as implementation manager earlier this year. 

Bringing extensive experience in the financial services industry, Nick has worked in the SIPP market for over 20 years and has developed propositions and managed third party relationships for the likes of Aviva, Zurich and Clerical Medical. He led the development of the Embark Group 'at retirement' SIPP proposition in response to Investment Pathways for distribution through several digital wealth platforms and joins BW having spent the last three years as Head of Master Trust Proposition for XPS and SEI.

As well as taking responsibility for innovation, Nick will be the Consumer Understanding Outcome lead, ensuring the firm continues with its proactive approach to Consumer Duty. Nick will work with the SIPP leadership team to develop and grow BW’s SIPP offering to clients.
