Continued client demand sees further growth for BW’s general insurance team

To support continued growth, we welcome senior consulting actuary, Ferghas MacGregor as we continue to expand our general insurance team.

Fearghas has been appointed as Associate to advise and support a breadth of BW’s general insurance clients. His focus will be on capital modelling, regulatory capital setting, internal model variation and model use, while also contributing to all other aspects of general insurance.

Fearghas has over 10 years’ experience in capital modelling for general insurance. He has worked on internal model development and approval, and major model change applications with both PRA and Lloyd’s. He has supported internal model validation cycles and regulatory reporting requirements. He brings expertise in embedding capital modelling techniques to wider risk management and business decision making process, and in explaining technical and statistical information to senior stakeholders.
