Barnett Waddingham continues graduate programme with 32 new joiners this year
We are proud to have continued to invest in the next generation of consultants in 2020 and increased our graduate intake from last year in spite of the pandemic.
The 32 graduates, up from 27 in 2019, have joined a range of different business streams, including employer consulting, actuarial consulting, public sector consulting and insurance consulting throughout the UK.
Financial services graduate schemes are extremely competitive and in order to support the next generation and attract a diverse calibre of talented candidates, we invest significant resource in our training programmes. Barnett Waddingham is ranked as a top employer in the RateMyPlacement accountancy and finance section for its graduate scheme for medium sized companies 2020 - 2021.
"We will continue to invest in people at this early stage of their careers, as they are the future consultants who will help us drive our business forward, and create more bespoke services for our clients."
David Stoddard, Chief Operating Office at Barnett Waddingham, said; “As a financial services consultancy, we are not just looking for mathematics graduates for roles. We are looking for a truly diverse range of candidates to consider for roles right across the company including actuarial, risk, investment, insurance and IT. We will continue to invest in people at this early stage of their careers, as they are the future consultants who will help us drive our business forward, and create more bespoke services for our clients.
“By deliberately taking an inclusive approach with our recruitment of graduates we are expecting to continuously increase diversity at Barnett Waddingham, while still recruiting the brightest and the best applicants. Not only does this ensure multiplicity of thought, but also provides us with the opportunity to think freely and creatively, challenging conventional approaches in meeting the needs of our growing client base.”
