Barnett Waddingham awarded 2020 Best Companies to Work For accreditation
We have been listed among The Sunday Times’ 100 Best Companies to Work For and awarded a coveted two-star status.
While this is not the first time Barnett Waddingham has been recognised by the Best Companies survey, it is the first time we have been awarded the two-star rating and appeared in the top one hundred, demonstrating our continuous improvement.
Published annually, the Best Companies to Work For lists are based on anonymous interviews with employees across the company, covering issues relating to staff engagement, including wellbeing, pay and benefits, personal growth and leadership.
Feedback from the research allows organisations to identify areas for development and then work to implement changes to ensure we continue to provide a rewarding, satisfying and enjoyable place to work.
Our improvements in the past year helped to gain the additional star status, reinforcing our confidence in our approach to employee engagement.
"Being in The Sunday Times' 100 Best Companies to Work For is fantastic recognition of the hard work and dedication our entire team puts into creating an outstanding workplace culture," said Senior Partner Nick Salter.
"We may be growing in size as a firm, offering more services than ever, but our perspective has remained the same – our independence and focus on free thinking helps people recognise how valuable they are to us."
"Put simply, having happy, engaged employees leads to us having happy, engaged clients. It drives us to providing an excellent service as a business at all touchpoints. Words can’t express how important it is for us to deliver on our values, so it’s hugely encouraging to know that we are continuing to do the right thing when it comes to treating our people well."
