Lowell: flexible benefits and wellbeing for employees
Lowell is one of Europe’s largest credit management and litigation firms, working across eight countries and employing 4,000 people, 1,700 of who are in the UK.
The need
The company was keen to radically overhaul its employee benefits strategy, including the benefits offered. As part of this review, Lowell wanted to understand why certain benefits should be offered.
Lowell knows that the market it operates in can be challenging at times for employees. So the new proposition had to have wellbeing at the very heart of it.
The previous technology solution simply wasn’t delivering on many levels. Lowell needed a platform that was streamlined, agile and future-proof; one that would grow with them and support the overall employee value proposition.
The result
We worked with Lowell to develop a new solution underpinned by our 4me platform. This saw an increase in employee engagement of over 90%!

". . . I really felt Barnett Waddingham had our best interests at heart throughout the project and the team personally cared about helping us achieve our objectives."
It also gave back a significant amount of time to the HR & Reward team which had previously been spent on day-to-day administration.
The feedback from employees has been excellent. This is especially pleasing given that all of this was achieved in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
