One of our clients had experienced a number of personnel changes during a time when the pension scheme was undergoing significant changes. The HR and payroll staff dealing with the pension scheme needed to fully understand their roles and responsibilities as well as being aware of disclosure and reporting requirements.

Barnett Waddingham delivered a comprehensive training session for some of the HR and payroll staff giving a background of the pensions scene, legislation and disclosure regulations and an overview of their own pension scheme, as well as an update on auto-enrolment.

Particular focus was given to the procedures to follow for each member event and the interface between HR, payroll and the scheme's administrators. A training pack was produced for reference following the training session.

The attendees were very happy with the training session and one member of the HR staff commented that her pensions knowledge has been significantly enhanced as a result of that day.
