Minimum qualification requirements

GCSE: Level 6 in English Language | A-Level: A in Mathematics | Degree: 2:1 or above (any subject)

Qualification obtained

Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. On joining, our Trainee Consultants get the chance to work with different teams during the first 18 months, following which a specific team is selected to work in. Depending on the team joined, our Trainee Consultants have the option to either continue studying to achieve the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ fellowship qualification, or consider alternative routes to qualification, such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Actuarial Analyst

A school leaver or graduate who doesn’t meet the qualification requirements for our trainee consultant role who loves mathematics and enjoys problem solving.

Minimum qualification requirements

GCSE: Level 5 in English Language | A-Level: B in Mathematics

Actuarial summer internship

Undergraduates with one year of study remaining who wish to experience working in our actuarial teams.

Minimum qualification requirements

GCSE: Level 6 in English Language | A-level: A in Mathematics | Degree: Predicted 2:1 or above (any subject)

Experience obtained

Our eight-week summer internship is designed to give you an insight into life as a Trainee Consultant at BW.
