We are a community of 60+ software developers working in teams across our software portfolio. Mainly full-stack developers, but as our teams grow, we have opportunities for those with more specialised software development experience, including front-end web design, web security, RESTful web API design, and software architecture.

Development projects are for internal and external clients and their customers. Depending on the level of experience our developers might expect to be responsible for all aspects of client systems including analysis, design, build, test, deploy and support. There are also opportunities to contribute outside the team through communities, show-and-tells and hackathon events.

We mainly code on the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio, using Azure DevOps services to manage our code, tests, builds and releases. We are on a DevOps journey with automated build and release pipelines built for many of our apps, deploying to our on-premise servers and preparing for a future in the cloud. A typical web application stack is SQL Server, ASP.NET and Angular, with front-end code written in typescript and back-end code written in C#. We will always aim to apply the most appropriate technology to solve a problem and our hackathons are an ideal opportunity to explore new options.
