Our large and diverse employer consulting team provide expertise across a wide range of functions:
- Defined Benefit pension consulting - We provide advice to companies who are responsible for funding defined benefit (“final salary”) pension schemes so that members receive their benefits. Our advice helps companies to balance the pension scheme costs and risks with running a sustainable, growing and profitable business. We look to help the company find solutions that work all stakeholders (trustees, members, shareholders/owns, employees and regulators). We work closely with colleagues in our Investment Consulting and Actuarial Consulting departments as well as more widely within Employer Consulting.
- Defined Contribution pension service - We provide support to employers and trustee boards. Our work covers more than two million members and over £8 billion of assets. We work collaboratively with our clients to understand their pension scheme, circumstances, and objectives, and provide advice and consultancy services to identify the most appropriate solution. At the heart of our work is our ‘ACDC’ (analyse, consult, deliver, check) approach, providing data analytics, technical and market knowledge to consult and deliver tailored solutions to the needs of our clients. Within the DC team, our work ranges from scheme design and provider selection to investment consultancy and at retirement solutions.
- Benefits consultancy - Our specialist teams have a common goal to deliver first class technology and consultancy services for the benefit of our clients. We have a wide range of roles within the team from client facing consultants to Business Analysts and Project Managers and the different skill sets and process of thought means we provide services using analytics, consultancy through to delivery and technology. Our Benefit consultants work with our clients to deliver strategic reward and benefits advice covering risk and health, wellbeing, flexible benefits and pay gap consultancy.
- Drumroll - Barnett Waddingham’s award winning creative agency, was ‘born’ in 2017 out of the need for a fresh approach to the way employers communicate and engage their workforce.
